Hi, I’m Alexa.

I’m an independent tattoo artist working at Relatively Painless in Leith, Edinburgh.

I began tattooing in early 2018 with a traditional apprenticeship in the beautiful south-west of Germany, surrounded by more mountains than tattoo studios. I’d wanted to become a tattoo artist and live abroad since I was young and at the start of 2020 I made both dreams real by moving to Edinburgh.

Although the pandemic delayed my start in Edinburgh’s tattoo scene, I stayed determined and have been going strong ever since.

I work across a wide variety of styles. Neo-traditional, blackwork and realism are some of my favourites, and I have a soft spot for dogs, video games and anything Western.

In the studio, I aim for a calm atmosphere with plenty of laughs. I can’t wait to create your next tattoo.
