Who is responsible for your information?

Alexa Ryder, trading as Alexa Ryder Tattoo, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

What I collect

When you submit a tattoo enquiry, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, pronouns, confirmation that you are over 18, preferred appointment dates and times, tattoo preferences, placement, style, size, budget, written messages and any reference or existing-tattoo images you choose to upload.

If you go ahead with a booking, I may also keep appointment, deposit, payment, consent and aftercare records needed to provide the service.

Why I use it

I use this information to review and respond to enquiries, discuss whether a tattoo is suitable, prepare designs and estimates, arrange appointments, take deposits, provide the tattoo service and aftercare, maintain necessary business records, and deal with questions or disputes.

I process enquiry and booking information because it is needed to take steps you request before booking and to provide an agreed service. I may also use limited information where necessary for legitimate business interests, legal obligations, safety and record keeping.

Who handles it

The enquiry form is provided by Tally, which processes form responses and uploads on my behalf. My email provider may process messages and notifications. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. I do not sell your personal information.

If you contact me through Instagram, Meta processes that conversation under its own privacy terms. The embedded map connects your browser to Google when the homepage loads.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage a possible booking and maintain relevant business records. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted when they are no longer needed. Booking, payment and consent records may be kept longer where required for tax, insurance, legal or safety purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, ask for information to be deleted or restricted, or object to certain uses. Some rights depend on the circumstances, and some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.

Website technology

This website does not use advertising or audience-tracking analytics. The live Instagram feed displays public posts and may load images from Meta’s content network. The homepage also includes an embedded Google map.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated if the enquiry process or services change. The latest version and its update date will always appear on this page.
